                                  New Years Eve Party

                         Chapter 7: Should I accept you?

Shadow was in front the beautiful white huntress. Ready for the kiss, he wasn’t sure if he was doing the right thing, but it didn’t matter to him. The ebony hedgehog new that he was attracted by the bat. He was about to kiss her until, Rouge moaned in pain.  Shadow quickly moved away from her. He was to nervous so he walked away from the room to get her some water and a couple of pills that the doctor gave Shadow for Rouge.

“What was I thinking, she could’ve seen me!” thought Shadow

Rouge, on the other hand, was fluttering her eyelids enable for her to see clearly. She was looking around the room.

“Where am I? I remember a huge guy trying to kill me, until everything went blur. And that other guy. He………….saved me. But who could he be? Man, I wish he was in front of me so I could thank him.” thought Rouge

Shadow walked in with a glass of water and the pills for her.

She looked very angry. Rouge looked away; she didn’t want to see his face.

“How are you feeling?” asked Shadow nicely

She didn’t answer, she didn’t want to.

The dark hedgehog could tell that she was very upset with him. But he wanted to tell her that it was Wave’s fault.

“You know,” he paused, “you’re lucky that I got to save you again.” He looked at her, and still, she had the same expression. He sat down next to her, “…….I was very worried about you…”

When she said the she wished of having her hero in front of her for saving her life, she didn’t think that it would be………him. Like everyone says, be careful for what you wish for.

It was a silent for a couple of seconds. Shadow grabbed the glass of ice cold water and the two red pills. “Here, the doctor came in to check on you, and said that you’ll be fine. That in a couple of days you’ll recover the pain.” He handed her the pills and water.

She turned around to face him, she still looked very angry at him. The ivory bat snatched the pills and water from him, and took her medication.

Shadow didn’t know what to do anymore. So he just wanted to tell her what happened.

First, he looked at the ground, then at her, “Rouge…….I know that you don’t want to hear me or look at me for sure, but please, hear me out.

“Hear you out on what? That you couldn’t stop eating up Wave’s tongue. Shadow you don’t have to say anything, because I saw the whole entire scene with my own eyes!”

“I know, I know, but I didn’t want to kiss her! I never like her! In fact, I’ve never spoken to her, but some how she got my phone number and started talking to me. It was a couple of days before Amy’s party.” Shadow explained

Rouge was now interested to what he had to say.

She looked at him as he looked back at her. “Look, maybe I shouldn’t waste my time. I know that you don’t want to be near me, but you will stay hear until you recover your cut. I insist.” He walked away, but came to a stop at the front of the bedroom door.

“Rouge, I apologize if I ever hurt you in any way. I know that I have had a lot of errors in my life. But please, I can’t face the fact that you don’t want to speak to me…. you’re my only friend…….”

He was waiting for a response, but nothing. The door was shut and Rouge was alone.

A light blue tear was upon her cheek. “Oh Shadow……you don’t know how much I love you. I wish that you were right here right now with me, in this very spot. So I can hug you, and feel that strong, hard, muscled body of yours. Running my hands down your perfect shaped chest. When you touch me, you make me melt……so much…” said Rouge in a dreamy way.

She closed her eyes and was remembering all of the good memories she had about the two of them. She opened her eyes, and remembered what he said to her about Wave. How she just started to talk to him out of no where. She some how knew that he wasn’t lying about that.


Back at Amy’s House

Everyone was gone; there was trash all over the floor, and tables. Balloons everywhere, and on the red couch, was Sonic and Amy. Amy was worrying about Rouge. So many questions were in her head.

“Sonic, I need to go to Rouge’s house. I need to see her. I know she’s there.” said Amy

Sonic came up to her and gave her a big hug, “Don’t worry Ames, I saw Shadow running after Rouge to comfort her. I’m sure he’s taking care of her.”

“You think so?” asked the pink one
“I know so. Oh and, since it’s almost midnight, I think there’s something we need to do.” said the blue one seductively

“What might that be?” asked Amy with a smirk, although she already new what he meant

“Why don’t I show you.” Sonic then leaned closer to Amy and kissed her sweet fruity lips. He put his arms around her waist, and she placed her arms around his neck. Amy let out a few moans, as Sonic started zipping off her dress, and caressing her breasts and the fun began.

Although, it was only suppose to be a kiss when it became the new year, they wanted to do it their way.

Back at Shadow’s House

Shadow was watching television, until he heard someone opening the bedroom door. It was Rouge, and you could tell she was in pain. Shadow got off of the couch, and walked towards the ivory one.

“Rouge, here, take my hand.” offered Shadow. He grabbed her and escorted her to the couch, and sat down next to her, “Do you need something?”

She looked at him confused, “Wait, you’re not mad at me?”

He laughed a little, “Look, you can get mad me, but I know that you won’t stay mad at me forever.”

“How could I stay mad at you Shadow?” thought Rouge in her head. “Shadow, some how, I believe you about the whole french kiss with Wave, but can you please tell me what happened between you and Wave.”

“To start of with, she couldn’t stop calling me on my phone. She always asked me if I wanted to go to Amy’s party with her, but my answer was no, of course. I don’t know why though. She always tried flirting with me. But all of that happened a couple days before the party.”  

Rouge thought about it for a second, until she got it. “She planned it all along. She just tried to make………” she stopped. “Should I say what I’m about to say?” thought Rouge

With Shadow waiting to finish her sentence, “She just what?”

“No, no, no, I shouldn’t tell you. It’s….it’s stupid,” said the bat nervously

“Come on, just tell me.” said Shadow

Rouge didn’t know what road to take. Should she tell him or not?

I think it’s time he knew the truth. She took a deep breath, and faced Shadow’s crimson eyes. “Shadow, there’s a reason why she did all of that flirting with you.”

“And that is?”

Rouge took her time to tell him “She tried to make me jealous.”
